Holy crap!

I did not realize it had been so long since I was on here!

The whole place is much improved!

I live up here in Ohio, and we are heading to WV to spend the weekend wandering around, so I just came to the site to see if anything was happening in WV this weekend or to get some ideas of where to ride.

I don't think we are going to plan anything. I think we are just going to wander around and when we get tired find a campground and go to sleep!

Howdy!

Not much going on really, I think Jeffro has done most of the riding this season.

Whereabouts in WV are you going to be?

Honestly, it is hard to say where we will be.

We might not even make it to West Virginia! My buddy that I am riding with has his BMW in the shop. We are going to head out soon and meet him at the BMW dealer to pick up his bike and then we are going to hit the road.

The bike was supposed to be done yesterday, so this is going to delay us some. We have no set plans at all, but I am going to suggest we head across PA on Rt. 6 and then eventually drop south to WV. I was kind of hoping to get down to the Hawks Nest area, but I don't know if we will make it there.

The whole ride got all fouled up.

The BMW shop had promised my buddy that they would have the bike finished on Saturday. The shop is about 70 miles from my house but I was tired of waiting so we left and headed for the shop. When we got there it was obvious that there was no way in the world the bike would be back together by the end of the day.

We were already pretty far north, and it was already after 2PM, so we decided just to get on Rt. 6 and go across PA. We almost made it to the PA Grand Canyon, and then decided to try to see some elk so we headed south. We did manage to see some Elk.

All in all it was a fun weekend, but a disappointment my friend could not come along, and we never did get into West Virginia. We did have very excellent weather other than the fact that we got quite cold during the night as we camped, but I would rather have it too cold than too hot anyway.

I am going to try to get to WV this year, but next weekend I have plans and then it is off to Indy, so time is starting to run out for this summer!
