we hit rt250 in philip where most of the ride from philip to elkins was rolling hills with very little twisties. the four lanes until you get of of elkins. we stoppat a little mexican place where it took forever for them to take our order. but we got the food really fast after they took the order. the food was pretty darn good..
we took rt250 down to huttonsville and picked up rt219. the bad part of this section was an old goldwing with traing wheels. after turning onto rt 219 we started clicking along at a nice pace until a tour buss had traffic backed up. we got around the buss and started back at a good pace. mike had to turn off at rt39 so he could get back to charleston asap..... after joe and i got about half way between mill point and lewisbirg we could see a cloud dumping rain off in a distance. it looke like it was only raining in one sport off to our right.. well after riding a few more miles we ran into a section of rt219 wher it looked like it had dumped buckets. the wet road only lasted about a mile or so..
jo ani split wasy in hinton and boy was it dark going over hinton mtn.. i had two cars in front of me going through jumping branch and i'm gald they were in front. 5 deer ran in front of the head car. i think i would have hit at least one if i was in front..
MY RIDE TODAY WAS JUST OVER 380 MILES GIVING ME 8050 FOR THE YEAR AND 41086 TOTAL ON THE BIKE
