jamie and i rode to kegley to meet up with paul on his sv1000 today. we took rt10 across herndon " sweet set of twisties " to rt16 through pineville, welch then thats when things when a little bad for paul.


there's a couple decreasing radius turns that catch people foof gurd and one of the bit paul.. the bike had some damage but paul was ok with just a small place of road rash on his knee.






then we made a stop in war at mama jess's pizza. wow. what a good pizza at a great price. i mean this thing was about 24" long and 14" wide. and was only $11.99 yes with drinks three of us ate for under $18.00 ...

i even got hugs from the cook and owner..



if you are ever in war you have to stop here..

Not yet. I was in Maryland last week for Toyota training. Saving some money to buy what I need.

Paul, I see you like crashing on the right side also. Now you can do the flush mount thing and get it over with.

I'm glad you came out of it in decent shape, the bike is fixed a lot eaiser than the body. DAMHIK

Yeah the bike is a lot cheaper to fix than I am for sure!! I have my gear to thank for that. Though some Icon knee pads are on their way.

Hmmm...personal service and pizza

Been through War a few times now while hitting Rt16...gonna have to give that place a try next time through.

BTW, anyone ever get a shot of the sign welcoming you into War? I think about it after it's too late every time.

Speaking of pizza...is that place worthy of adding to "The Eatery"?

it sure is.. i put it on the group list as soon as i got home.. the pizza was great and you won't beat the prices.. it was just over $17 tax and all for the 3 of us and we had pizza left over.. the place is very clean and they even have a flat screen tv in the dining room.. it's doesn't look like much from the outside but it's well worth the stop..

i might go down there one day next week to see jessica.. i can take a pic then.. i can also have jessica " aka mama jess " take one for me if i don't..
it's just not a great place to stop and take a pic.. lol
