West Virginia Sport Touring

Glad to be here. I have been doing a little riding through W.V. over the past few years and LOVE it. I wont be a regular weekender but I am sure I will be down for more than a few weekends in the future. I am 50 and have been riding forever. My current road bike is an 03' Honda 954RR that fits me like a glove. I am just getting back on the bikes after a git-off and a broken leg earlier this season. Looking forward to some GREAT riding down your way in 08'......

Hey Stealth, welcome to the group. I'm 50 as well, but I have not been riding forever. I'm a late bloomer, and just got the bug a couple of years ago, but am having a blast. Get offs suck, I had one earlier in the year too. You'll find that the guys on this board can answer most, if not all of your questions about good riding routes in WV. Its a good time of year to be on the road viewing the scenery.

Just give us a holler when you're down this way next year and we'll hook up with ya for some miles.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I will be around the site often. I only work 4 long days a week having Sat, Sun, Mon off. So I alwqays have an extra day for riding and recovery before returning to work. I have a pick-up truck that I transport the bike in so the slab ride home isn't as crazy making as it would be on the 954. My oldest grad. H.S. this last year so I now have most of my spare time back........Life is good
