Hello from Beckley

Postby Yamaha_R6 on Sat Oct 27, 2007 10:58 pm

Hey everybody, my name is Paul and I'm originally from Pineville, in Wyoming County, WV. I've been living in Beckley for almost 3 years now and I work as a nurse. This past May I bought my first sportbike from a friend that I work with. I've always wanted one since I was a kid, but over the last 15 years it seems as if I never had any luck in purchasing one. Something always got in the way and I figured that God wanted me to stay off of them period, and it wasn't meant to be......so I gave up! LOL

The friend I bought my R6 from told me that it was for sale and that he'd offer it to me for a reasonable price. The rest as they say, is history, and it's been a true blessing. I can't remember having this much at any time in my life. Anyhow I just wanted to drop in and say hi and hope to ride with some of you in the future. Take care.

Thanks......and mine is a 2003 R6 Limited Edition. The only thing I've done to it is put an aftermarket exhaust on it. Those stock cannisters are big and ugly! LOL

From one Paul to another, welcome to the board.

I can relate to the 'sport bike' thing because I'm sure that if I was on one 20 years ago I wouldn't be here today [smilie=a_movinggreen.gif] If you find your way a little north around Charleston or Teays Valley give me a holler.

HI Paul!

I'm from Charleston, and I can tell you from experience this is a great group. The rides are really fun, and you are never under any pressure to do anything, but ride your own ride.

Look forward to riding with you one of these days.
